I gazed happiness in its eyes

The grey shadow of the grief stricken heart,
Was uncovered by its soothing part.

The long forgotten happiness and smile,
Was buried deep beneath the grave pile.

The deep seated sorrow and peace deprive,
Was the most obvious part of my life.

Finally the gaze at the illuminated night,
Was more a kaleidoscope of wonder and delight.

It felt like an angel had touched me,
For there was more that I was yet to see.

The anger,dismay and the lies,
There I was gazing happiness in its eyes.

I wish the moment lasted a little more,
But my heart said there was more in store.

  1. Wow Pujan, my friend this is really awesome. I've amazing faith in you. And yaar I m waiting for your next poem.. And Pujan, when you write and share your life with others, you remind them that they are not crazy or lost or alone. When you write about your joys, your fears, your tiniest and grandest moments, you would often hear them "Me, too Pujan".. And this is precious reward, Keep writing..
